VISAS

Zambia is an accessible country. A passport and visa are required to enter Zambia. Passports must be valid for at least six months upon arrival and have at least two blank pages upon each entry. CURRENCY

The Zambian Kwacha is the official currency of Zambia. The currency code for Kwacha is ZMW. There are banknotes with denominations of 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 Kwacha. There are coins of 10, 20 and 50 ngwee, as well as 1 kwacha coins. The American dollar is accepted in a number of commercial stores, restaurants, hotels and service stations. It is possible to change the foreign currency in banks and exchange houses.
